The Wycombe & Amersham Darts Club League moved into its second half this weekend with mixed results for Bucks’ sides.

High Wycombe A lost 5-2 to Loughton as Paul Tubb and Dan O’Connell both won close matches and superb out shots of 116 and 151 earned Dan O’Connell the Man of the Match award.

Division 1 saw Phoenix Club take an early lead and pick up a 10-4 away win at Cressex CC E to go top of the table.

Penn & Tyler's SC found Hazlemere CC a tough nut to crack in a hard fought 8-6 win. Holmer Green Legion A’s match against The Riverside proved to be an even clash and ended all square with a score of 7-7.

Blaine Jelly produced some of the best darts of the match with a maximum 180 for The Riverside before Paul Barfield replied in kind for The Legion. Division 2 started well for Cressex CC C as they picked up an impressive 9-5 win.

Winchmore Hill CC top the table after winning 10-4 at Holmer Green Legion B and matched that result against Marsh Legion at Bourne End CC.

High Wycombe B enjoyed a 5-2 win over fellow mid-table side Aylesbury after Steve McLeod’s 180 got them off to a flying start. Craig Cox and Dan Price also recorded maximums as Wycombe eased into the lead, before man of the match Paul Farnes wrapped up the victory.

Fanes hit a brilliant 130 out shot to pick up a 15 dart leg and maintain an average of 25.76 across the meeting.

Elsewhere, week 11 of the Super Singles Darts League took place at the Wooburn WMC.

Mark Deller cruised to a 9-1 win over Trevor Bereton as he hit two maximums while Mark Luckett’s fine form continued with a 7-3 win over Paul Woodbridge.

Simon White was made to battle for a 6-4 win over Dave Stopps while McLeod and Dan Franzen retained their unbeaten runs with wins over John Beattie and Jelly respectively.

Finally, Leigh Ross tightened his grip on third place with a 7-3 win over Stephen Vaughan.
