The top performers from the Wycombe & Amersham Darts Club League were honoured over the weekend at an end of season presentation evening.

The event, which took place at Penn & Tylers Green Sports and Social Club, saw both teams and individuals being honoured for their efforts.

Firstly, Penn received their award for wining Division One after a campaign in which they lost only one game to pip Phoenix Club to top spot by seven points.

The success completed a hat-trick of league titles for Penn who were led by non-playing captain Geoff Norris.

The Division Two title went to Winchmore Hill CC as they held off the challenge of Cressex CC C to claim top spot by three points.

Meanwhile, Phoenix Club picked up the Challenge Cup trophy which they had won after beating Penn 3-1 in the final.

There was solo success for Brian Witney who collected the Men’s Singles trophy which he had secured with a 3-2 win over fellow Phoenix Club member Liam Burgess in the final.

Finally Sarah Mallott continued a fine winning habit as she received her prize for winning the Ladies Singles for the second year running.
