HIGH Wycombe’s Clan Netball Club have been crowned England U19 champions.

The club clinched the honour with a stunning performance at the finals in London.

They won all their pool matches and a further five competitive matches followed, including a nail biting 14-13 win over Oldham, who’s squad had a plethora of national U17 and U19 players.

But Clan Red showed their skill and resilience to win all their matches and take the title.

Head performance coach Kathryn Ratnapala said: “I couldn’t be more proud of the players, the way they carried out their business, stuck to task and delivered on the big stage against some really tough opposition was phenomenal.”

Clan also sent a second team to the event with Clan White also triumphing in the Plate competition.
