La Liga side Valencia descended on Bisham Abbey Sports Centre on Monday as a host of first team players used the facility to train.

Los Che are in England for pre-season friendlies against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace and are staying at Marlow’s Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Valencia, who were briefly managed by former England international Gary Neville, finished 12th in Spain’s top flight last season.

They will hope to improve on that performance this season under Pako Ayestaran, who took over in March.

Bisham Abbey has become a base for various top sporting sides who use the facility to prepare for major events including the Olympics.

The centre’s partners include Sport England, England hockey, the English Institute of Sport, GB canoeing and England netball.
