Stoke Park’s Conor Gough has been selected to represent England at Newport Golf Club in the annual under-16 match against Wales.
At just 13-years-old Gough is the youngest of the eight players who have been chosen to compete in the competition which takes place from August 16-17.
He won the English under-14 boys’ Open competition last week as he finished five shots clear of his nearest rival to claim the Reid Trophy.
The match is the first of a yearly three game series involving all of the home nations.
England will be looking to match the form they showed last year which saw them win all three of their matches.
Gough will be joined by Barclay Brown, Charlie Dougherty, Dominic Clemens, Matthew Freeman, Charlie Hilton, Hugo Kedzile and Charlie Slater in the team
