Chesham United will play Lewes FC or Sevenoaks Town in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup.

The Generals cruised to a 5-0 win over Saffron Walden Town on Saturday to book their place in the next round of football’s oldest club knockout competition.

Andy Leese’s men will discover their opponents on Wednesday night when Lewes and Sevenoaks meet in a replay after playing out a goalless draw on Saturday.

Chesham are looking to replicate their impressive run to the second round of the cup last year, which saw them win the 2016 Giant-Killing award for their 1-0 win over Bristol Rovers in round one.

Meanwhile, Beaconsfield SYCOB will be hoping to overcome Wantage Town in a replay tonight after being held to a 1-1 draw first time round.

Victory would land them a home tie against a Witham Town side who beat Haringey Borough 3-0 in the first qualifying round.

Both ties will take place on Saturday, September 17.
