Week three of the Superleague Darts season saw High Wycombe pick up a mixed bag of results.

Their B team were in imperious form as they took on local rivals Chesham and stormed to a dominant win which saw them lose just three legs.

Nearly all of their number eased to 4-0 wins in their respective matches with man of the match Paul Farnes hitting a maximum 180 in an impressive display.

Craig Cox, Rob Buckle and Jon Woodbridge joined him in scoring maximums in their wins, while Liam Maughan, Gary Price and Steve McLeod were also victorious in the 7-0 trouncing.

Aylesbury Warriors proved to be a far more testing prospect as they beat High Wycombe’s A team 4-3 in a hard-fought contest.

Wycombe started well to take an early lead in their first match, before eventually going 1-0 down.

They were chasing the match from that point on and were unable to mount a comeback despite their best efforts.

Richard Parcell and Paul Tubb both won their matches to give them hope but even a man of the match display from Dan O’Connell could not turn the game in their favour.
