On Saturday October 14, Godstowe’s U10 A Netball team won the U10 Netball Tournament at Maltman’s Green. They faced five schools and won all of their matches.
The team were strong throughout and secured convincing wins. They defeated Claires Court 9-0, Maltman’s Green Bs 10-0, Maltman’s Green As 10-2 and High March 6-2.
On the same day, Godstowe’s cross country runners were in action at RAF Halton, running against 15 other schools. The U9, U10 and U11 teams all won the gold team medals. The U8s, many of whom were competing for the first time, won the silver team medal.
The success at RAF Halton was preceded by another winning occasion at Hughenden Park on Saturday October 7. Twenty-five girls from Year five and six took part in the Wycombe Phoenix Cross Country Championships.
The Year six runners finished first in the team championship, a wonderful success.
