Marlow United eased their way into the last eight of the Reading Senior Cup with an emphatic 5-0 defeat of Berks County.

Having defeated County 3-0 three weeks previously it took the visitors a while to settle into the cup tie with the hosts going close from a corner early on in the proceedings.

United eventually took the lead on the half hour with Jo Jarra being upended in the area and then watching his penalty kick being parried by keeper Williams with Jarra following up to clip home the loose ball.

County barely had time to recover when a clearance by United keeper Rundle picked out Liam Bushay who ran on before notching number two, the accuracy of his shot leaving the keeper stranded.

United were now in complete control and captain James Namyslak blasted home a 20 yard effort early in the second half with sub Qwam Thomas adding the fourth on 75 minutes and Bushay completing the rout as he outjumped keeper Williams to nod home the fifth following a through ball from Jo Da Silva.

Marlow now host County in the league on Saturday at Derehams Lane.
