World number 17 Tyrrell Hatton is ready to play his last tournament of the year, the DP World Tour Championship in Dubai.
2017 has been a stellar year for Hatton, beginning the season well in the Middle East, fading in the summer before storming back with two wins in two weeks in Scotland and Italy.
His form has been superb over the autumn months and he has put himself in pole position for a Ryder Cup spot next year.
Last year at this tournament, he finished second, one shot behind eventual winner, Matthew Fitzpatrick.
Despite leading up the final hole, Hatton found the water with his tee shot and made bogey while Fitzpatrick made birdie.
Although he won't be crowned Europe's number one, he currently sits fifth in the Race to Dubai standings.
