Beaconsfield continued their recent unbeaten League run with a thumping 4-0 win over neighbours Marlow, gaining revenge for their FA Cup defeat earlier in the season in the process.

The Rams were in a confident mood and Aaron Minhas went close on ten minutes with a shot that needed to be saved by Simon Grant.

On 27 minutes, however, Minhas made the most of a quick throw in to float the ball over Grant and it went in off the post to give Beaconsfield the lead. A quality goal from an in-form player.

The second period was a different story as The Rams put the visitors to the sword. On 48 minutes a cross by Andre Costa was met by Minhas but his header went mere inches wide. Two minutes later Jordan ‘AJ’ Ajanlekoko held off three Marlow defenders and fired off a shot that Grant let squirm through his fingers and legs and Beaconsfield were two up.

On 83 minutes Costa and Alex Cathline both had efforts on goal blocked but the ball eventually fell to Goldy Capela who spun his marker and fired past Grant. Five minutes later Grant had gone off to be replaced by Oneil Garnes and the sub keepers first job was to pick the ball out of the net as Alex Cathline put in a great cross that Goldy leapt to nod home.

Their was almost a carbon copy of the fourth goal two minutes later when Ollie Jones sent in a great cross that Goldy again met with his head but this time Garnes was equal to it.

On Tuesday, Beaconsfield recorded another win when they beat Hayes & Yeading 2-0 with Ajanlekoko and Capela with the goals.
