Despite racing into a two goal lead Beaconsfield had to be content with a point after Northwood staged a fine recovery to make it 2-2.

The Rams started strongly and on six minutes Aaron Minhas was set up by Jordan Ajanlekoko and his shot took a slight deflection that took it over ex-Ram Brendon Hazlett in the Northwood goal. Though Harry Newman put a header just over for the visitors on ten minutes another deflected strike by Minhas on 12 minutes put the home side two goals up and seemingly cruising to three points.

Scott Cousins had an effort whistle just wide on 19 minutes and sixty seconds later, The Rams saw a shot hacked off the line as they looked to kill off their opponents. Northwood, however, are made of stern stuff and they pulled a goal back on 36 minutes when Tom Gilbey slotted home after a harshly awarded free kick was spilled in the area.

Goldy Capela then saw a header cleared off the line on 39 minutes and The Rams were to rue that miss as on the stroke of half time Mahlondo Martin ran down the wing and pulled the ball back for Isaac Olorunfemi to shoot past Constable.

The second period saw both sides create and miss chances – Capela had a shot saved by Hazlett on 53 minutes, Alex Cathline shot wide on 68 mins and Newman, for the visitors, saw his 71st minute effort saved by Constable. Kofi Lockhart-Adams brought out a fine save from Hazlett on 73 minutes and he also made a terrific save from an Ollie Jones strike right at the death.

Despite the dropping of two points, The Rams still moved up to third in the table and are now unbeaten in six league games.
