Chalfont St Peer picked up a terrific three points as they beat Hayes & Yeading away 2-1.
The breakthrough came after 23 minutes when Victor Osobu, revelling in the freedom he was being given, found Alex Paine open in the area and a great first touch and turn opened up the goal for a clinical finish.
Ryan Haugh, having an impressive afternoon all around the pitch lost two players by the touchline and swung a long ball perfectly into the path of Osobu who coolly finished to put Saints two up.
Hayes came out strongly for the restart, as expected, and the next half-hour saw almost no respite from the attacks but it showed the new-found resolution and teamwork that now courses through this Chalfont side.
There was little sign of a goal coming until the last ten minutes when yet another ball pumped into the Saints' area saw Alan Hedley flattened by an arm in the face by Duku, opening up a gap for Ismael Ehui to slide the ball past Dennison.
There was enormous relief that came with the final whistle and next up are Fleet Town on Saturday.
