WYCOMBE'S Isa Guha and the England Women's Cricket Team are one game away from the Women's World Cup Final.

If they beat West Indies tomorrow they will book their place in Sunday's final after a good weekend of Super Sixes results.

England beat New Zealand by 31 runs on Saturday and with India pulling off one of the shocks of the tournament by beating Australia on the same day, England's path to the final is open.

Speaking in her World Cup column, Guha said: "Four games played and four wins achieved. We are really happy with how things are going and that we managed to beat New Zealand on Saturday, who are one of the strongest teams in the competition.

"It was certainly our gutsiest effort to date at the World Cup , and a perfect illustration of what you need to do in tournament cricket.

"It was a difficult wicket to bat on and all our batters showed a lot of bottle by the way they came out and grafted, with Lotti (Charlotte Edwards) contributing with 57 and the late order hitting from Beth Morgan and Jenny Gunn absolutely vital in getting us over 200, which was a really important psychological barrier to achieve.

"We also worked hard with the ball and once again we put in an excellent display in the field, with our spinners putting in a brilliant performance.

"We took wickets at regular intervals and kept coming at them for the whole 50 overs as we knew they bat all the way down the order."
