New injury blow for Blues defender

INJURY-JINXED right back Lewis Hunt looks set to miss Blues' first pre-season friendly of the season away at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

He is the only member of Blues' first team squad who has not been able to take part in full training so far.

He is suffering with a slight fracture of his foot and is under doctor’s orders not to run on hard ground at the moment.

But the club are giving him plenty of bike work to do and they are confident he will be able to take a full part in the sessions next week.
