LEE Smith admits the injury crisis at Wasps is the worst he’s ever seen.
Wasps could not afford to leave a single fit player behind for their trip to Newcastle as they named their last 23 players for the LV Cup game.
The utility back said: “I don’t think I’ve ever seen as many really bad injuries as there are here.
“There are torn Achilles and cruciate ligaments, so we’ve had a few major ones.
“But hopefully we’ll get a few lads back in a few weeks and that will give us a boost.”
