THE Football League has announced a number of key dates for next season including when the fixtures will be announced and what date the season starts.
Fixtures for the 2010/11 campaign will be announced on Thursday, June 17 and the season will kick off on Saturday, August 7.
The Carling Cup begins the following week, with the final taking place on February 28 The Championship season ends on Sunday May 8, with League 1 and League 2 concluding the day before.
The Johnstone’s Paint Trophy starts on the week commencing August 30, with the final taking place on April 3.
