Bucks school gets its head in Bluefriars

GREAT Marlow School had a day to remember at the Bluefriars Head of the River race.

They sent 35 crews to the event, competing in singles, doubles, quads, pairs and fours, and they surged to multiple wins in every age category from year nine to sixth form.

In total the school won 16 races.

For the J14 students, victories came from the girls coxed fours, the boys coxed fours, quads and pairs.

The J15 girls won the coxed fours, quads and pair while boys added two more victories and also came in the J16 pairs, racing up an age group.

Meanwhile, the girls J16s won every event in their age group and the sixth formers , girls and boys, won in quads,singles and pairs
