WASPS hope to have Tom Varndell back in time to face Gloucester in The Stinger on Saturday, April 19.
Varndell has been sidelined with a bicep injury which required a second operation but he is training again now and the club say another fortnight should get him ready.
Dai Young said: “Tom Varndell is back in training but he’s probably got two weeks of contact work so I don’t think he’ll be far off The Stinger. That’s the aim.”
Meanwhile, Elliot Daly is should be fit for Sunday after coming off last weekend with a shoulder injury.
Young said: “Elliot took a bang just before half time and said he could carry on but we don’t want him out for any period so we got him off.”
Nathan Hughes picked up a dead leg in the game.
