London Marathon runner for Charity: James Morley-Smith is running the London Marathon this year to raise money for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust. James has never run a marathon or half-marathon, but has been inspired to act after his son was diagnosed with eye cancer when he was just four months old.

Such good fundraising

WHEN I was asked to run in the London Marathon late last year, it was not the thought of running 26.2 miles or the months of training that really concerned me; I figured that if so many other people could do it each year, it must be possible. I was concerned more about trying to raise the £1500 minimum the charity requests from each participant.

Snow Fun!

It’s been one of those weeks. How much chaos can a bit of snow cause? For many of us last week was full of problems getting to work, school closures and road nightmares; myself included. On top of this however, for me it was a week of running in the Gym. The snow and ice on the pavements and roads made running outside way too dangerous and very likely to end up in an injury.
