WANDERERS midfielder Steven Gregory looks set to join Aldershot on loan and could be joined at the Recreation Ground by Wycombe team-mates Alan Massey and Tom Cadmore.

All three have come under the microscope of Shots boss Gary Waddock and Wanderers will let them go out on loan to gain first team experience.

The trio have spent the week training with the Conference outfit and were due to turn out in the Hampshire side's friendly with Millwall tomorrow - before that game was cancelled on police advice after fears of crowd trouble.

Gregory was recommended by Shots' former Wanderers striker Jonny Dixon while left back Massey played for Aldershot in their 2-0 defeat against Crystal Palace and their 2-2 draw with Ash United on Tuesday.

All three players signed new one-year deals at Wycombe in the summer but Wanderers are keen for them to gain regular first team experience.

Blues head coach Ian Culverhouse said: "We are quite happy to let them go on loan there. It is a great standard to learn at.

"If Aldershot doesn't work out we will probably try and get them in somwhere else. We need them to be playing week in week out and somewhere close so that we can keep tabs on them as well.

"They will be a big part of this football club and we don't want to ship them out and forget about them.

"They are players for the future and we want to be able to see how they are doing."
