The new Tesco Express store will celebrate its launch with a donation to Stokenchurch Youth Club tomorrow.

The store, on the corner of George Road and Wycombe Road, will open its doors for the first time tomorrow morning.

Nigel Entwistle, Chairman of the Stokenchurch Youth Club Management Committee, will cut the ribbon and officially declare it open.

Store manager, Barry Collins and his 17 staff members will present Nigel with a £500 cheque, in a bid to support the local community.

Stokenchurch Youth Club holds weekly drop-in clubs for 11 to 18 year olds and provides games and internet access.

Tesco Express store manager, Barry, said: “We are really looking forward to our launch celebrations and meeting Nigel from Stokenchurch Youth Club which is a fantastic organisation that helps and serves our local community.

“I am thrilled with my new team and I am confident that we will provide the best possible service to our customers.”

It will be open seven days a week from 7am until 11pm and will have a free cash machine, self-service tills, Click and Collect, mobile top-up, alcohol and bakery.
