All lanes have been re-opened on the M40 after a pile-up left three men injured and other drivers stuck in long delays this morning.
Bucks Fire and Rescue crews were called to help release one injured man from the wreckage or a crash involving two cars and a van at 7.20am.
The incident happened southbound between M40 junction 5 (Stokenchurch) and junction 4 (Handy Cross).
Firefighters gave the injured man first aid and made the scene safe.
Two other injured men were able to free themselves from the vehicles before the emergency services arrived.
According to traffic links, there is still delays but the carriageway has now been cleared.
