A woman was left injured after a three-car pile-up on the M40 yesterday evening.
Firefighters and paramedics helped the injured woman from a car following a crash on the southbound carriageway between junctions 5 (Stokenchurch) and 4 (Handy Cross) at about 7pm.
Two fire engines from High Wycombe attended, along with a fire officer, police and paramedics.
The authorities have not yet confirmed what the woman’s current condition is.
