IF IT wasn't so sad, it would be funny. In a letter on August 19, Sarah Franklin complains about anti-hunters with the rallying cry "live and let live", conveniently overlooking that this, for many people today, is the whole point of opposing hunting or any other abuse of animals.
Just because something has become a "tradition" does not imbue it with automatic nobility. And just because hunting is "alive and well" unfortunate phrase in many parts of the world does not justify it.
Going out killing other animals purely for "fun" is an obnoxious depravity which should be rejected by all intelligent and sensitive people.
