My name is Dionne John and I am 27. My fiancee Darren Husbands is 30. We live in High Wycombe with our two children and plan to get married on August 7, 2010.

We both work hard to provide a stable and loving home for our children. We do not think that this alone qualifies us but we believe that we ought to win a wedding, as we have had a particularly stressful year.

My mother has diabetes and my younger brother is autistic. My sister was diagnosed with a brain tumour and will require further treatment.

I am the only member of my immediate family in good health and I often feel that I am the glue keeping everything together.

My fiancee’s grandmother died in May 2009 and we were devastated. Although she lived in Florida we were often in contact with her and she was planning to attend our wedding.

Although we have had a hard time over the past few months our love for each other has kept us strong and focused on the things that are important in life. We would love to have some help to make our special day even more magical.
