A second primary school in South Bucks is celebrating after receiving recognition from the Minister of State for Schools.
Hughenden Primary School came in the top 100 primary schools in the country for their key stage two test results, which were published in December.
The school, in Spring Valley Drive, received a letter of congratulations from Rt Hon David Laws MP, the Minister of State for Schools last week.
The letter praised the primary school pupils, staff and governors for their “hard work and success”.
Linda O’Malley, Senior Leader at Hughenden Primary School said: “We are extremely proud of our pupils and our staff. They work really hard. It’s very satisfying to see our pupil’s progress and to see them enjoying their learning at the same time; that is very important to us.”
The school also received a letter of congratulations from David Liddington MP after receiving the first letter.
Mrs O’Malley said: “He’s very proud of us because we’re in his constituency. It’s definitely something to celebrate.”
