Two men have been arrested after a 19-year-old was punched and kicked to the floor.

The pair, aged 19 and 24, have been released on bail until July 2 by officers investigating the assault, which took place at around 10.30pm on Friday.

The assault victim was walking across the motorway bridge over the M40 at Park Lane towards Lane End when three men got out of a red Vauxhall Corsa and attacked him.

He suffered concussion and bruising to his head and body during the attack.

Thames Valley Police are investigating and have appealed for the driver of what's thought to be a silver Seat Leon who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.

She is thought to be a white women in her forties and is believed to have seen what happened.

Police have also described one of the offenders as mixed race, slim and with facial hair.
