Waitrose has confirmed its new High Wycombe supermarket will open in March once they allocate up to 100 jobs after receiving more than 500 applications.

The new supermarket – which was built as part of the Handy Cross Hub – will be opened at 8am on Thursday, March 10, the retailer has confirmed.

The announcement comes after workers started fitting out the store in preparation for the opening.

Waitrose has already received more than 500 applications for the new roles, which include full and part-time positions across all departments.

The interview process is currently underway with job offers expected in the coming weeks.
