After dropping them off at the gates more than 1,000 times over the last few years, parents across south Bucks will proudly look on over the next week as their not-so-little ones head off for their final day before 'big school'.

Year sixes all across south Bucks will be moving on in their lives in what is bound to be an emotional farewell to the schools they have called home for much of their lives so far.

After 500 hours spent making packed lunches, and countless more on the school run, it is finally time for mums and dads to watch their child say farewell to their to their favourite teachers.

The Bucks Free Press has visited dozens of schools in south Bucks to take pictures of the departing Year six classes.

These photos will be exclusively published in today's edition of The Bucks Free Press only.

Pictures will be available to purchase form our website purchasing so you can remember forever your child’s early school years.

Each participating school will provide details of how parents can buy the pictures.
