Dancing on Ice star Kyran Bracken will be presenting achievement awards to more than 100 stars of Further Education at the Wycombe Swan on Wednesday, 21 October 2009.

The former England rugby hero is guest of honour at Amersham & Wycombe College’s Awards Evening, where students, parents, friends and VIPs will see performances from the college’s award-winning dance students and the college choir.

“We are all very excited about the Awards Evening as it’s a wonderful opportunity to recognise student achievement,” says Gill Clipson, College Principal & Chief Executive.

The evening will also include a short “fly on the wall” documentary produced by television production students.

Awards are for outstanding achievement in a wide range of categories from music to plumbing and celebrate personal and academic success in 2008/9. Many of the awards are sponsored by local businesses.

The winner of the top award, the ‘Star of Stars’, is a closely guarded secret until the final minutes of the event itself.
