Residents of Chichester Close sheltered housing scheme and their friends enjoyed a fish and chip supper followed by an evening of music last Friday 5th August to help raise money for the south Bucks Hospice.
Local artiste, Billy Dene who, for part of the evening sported a pale blue ‘Elvis’ jumpsuit and sang several Elvis hits, as well as other songs from that era provided music. Interval music came from local resident Johnny Thunder, on guitar.
South Bucks Hospice vice-president, Eileen Walters who organised the event with help of the site Managers said “It was a great evening, everyone enjoyed themselves. Singing and dancing to the music and we raised £385 for the Hospice”
