AWC Radio Takes To The Airwaves

Amersham College is to broadcast a local radio station on 87.7FM.

Media lecturer Karim Ngobi said: "This is a first for the college and we are all very excited about the FM broadcasts, which will broadcast over the internet and run daily from Monday to Thursday from 8am to 8pm" (June 13 - 16).

"Our media students will be running the whole show and we will have a daily breakfast programme, radio plays, interviews with local people and celebrities."

"With a broadcast radius of over 15 miles, the station should be available within a region that covers High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Aylesbury and Watford."
