'Booker: a place of note' is the title that Frances Kerner has chosen for the talk she is giving at the local history evening at St Birinus & St John's Church next Wednesday (January 28th). During what promises to be an informative as well as a friendly and relaxed evening, Frances will be presenting the results of her research into the history of Booker and its Common in the 18th century. The evening starts at 7.30pm. £1 admission includes interval tea or coffee and home made cake.
