Best-ever Results at Shiplake College

Pupils and staff at Shiplake College have been celebrating the College’s best-ever examination results. Over 50% of pupils gained grades A*-B in their subjects at A –Level and six pupils gained straight-A results. Ten pupils also gained a number of the newly introduced A-Level A* grades.

“Sir William Ramsay’s 2010 GCSE results continue to underline the hard work and commitment of our students and staff” said Gaynor Comber, Headteacher. With a 9% increase on last year’s results, 77% of students achieved 5 A* - C grades with 48% of students achieving 5 A* - C grades including English and Maths - a new school record.
