Four people are believed to be injured after a crash involving two cars in Penn this afternoon.
Crews from Amersham and High Wycombe are at the scene in Common Wood Lane.
Firefighters used hydraulic equipment to release an injured man from of the cars.
Three ambulances, three ambulance officers, a rapid response car and Thames Valley Air Ambulance are still at the scene.
Three other injured men were released before the emergency services arrived, but all four are believed to be in a serious condition.
South Central Ambulance Service confirmed they are stabilising the injured men at the scene before taking them to hospital.
Common Wood Lane was closed in both directions and drivers were asked to find an alternative route, but the road has since reopened.
