Risborough Cares Charity - forthcoming AGM

The Annual General Meeting of the Risborough Cares Charity will be held on Thursday 24th March 2011 at 7.00 for 7.15 pm at the Community Care for Adults Day Centre in Clifford Road, Princes Risborough.
Everyone is welcome to the AGM which is always a lively occasion.
It is especially important this year because of the cuts in expenditure for social care which may lead to the closure or changes to the Adults Day Centre and the Red Cross Centre.
Please can this be inserted in the Bucks Free Press for the 11th and 18th March?

On this page is an invitation, for those who really care about the Risborough Day Centre, to attend its AGM on Thursday 24th 2011.
In the light of today's announcement of Day Centre closures, local elected Tories would be advised to find other things to do and simply send their apologies for the AGM.
No more 'Running with the hare, but hunting with the hounds' is acceptable.
You are giving our Party a bad name.
So what happened at the AGM?
The one who has hi-jacked the writing of the Day Centre Business case did find somewhere else to go.
The other stayed for five minutes before the meeting started, to register his presence. And then guess what? He left because he had to attend another appointment.
My ex-next door neighbour reports that the AGM was no better informed, about the future of the Centre, at the end of the evening, than at the start.
But at least, he says, he knows who really cares!
