BEAUJOLAIS wine tasting followed our AGM this year. Members Jill and Celia have been on a WI Beaujolais course.

They told us how this area of France first started making wine during the Roman Empire and the methods of hand picking the grapes and pressing are still the same today.

With a selection of wines and foods provided by Beaujolais we were able to discover how a wine may taste differently when drank with different foods.

We have had a successful year with a membership of 40. We elected out new committee and Carole O’Neil was re-elected as president.

Our next meeting is on December 4, our Christmas party, when Mr Brown will be entertaining us with his Christmas themed Magic Lantern show.

Please come and join us in the main hall of Cedar Park School, Cedar Avenue, Hazlemere at 7.45pm. Visitors are always welcome.
