Council tax decision is good news

ONCE again residents in Buckinghamshire have been granted a rare ray of economic hope in these tough times with the news that Buckinghamshire County Council is not intending to raise its council tax share.
This is thanks to a central Government grant. Many may think this is hardly set to change their lives – after all, it is a relatively small amount in the face of rising costs and service cuts in almost every direction we are looking at.
But every bit of relief possible at the moment must surely be a cause for celebration. This is one measure of the upcoming budget that surely we can all agree is worth keeping.
