A cat's eye view along the road of ...life.

Look at it this way...

By Fractal »

If you will, I want you to imagine a scenario. - Two people are talking of everyday things each at a pc checking e-mail, updating social-sites, browsing. A question is formed on the lips of one of those people and is framed thus - What is the worst thing in the world?

A heated discussion ensues. Both agree that it would depend on far to many outside influences - Mood would play a big part because it would only need half an hour watching a Discovery channel to sign up to the save the (fill in animal of choice), because the conscience of seeing another species lost would be to sorrowful to contemplate.

Seeing the destruction of the rain forest. And then there was the whole global-warming thing. Polar bears, otters, and what about those weird antelope things that once roamed the high plains of Tibet, or was it the steppes of Russia?

War of course, all of those could be deemed the worst; some more than others? Or do they all rate the same?

The new opening batsman for England failing dismally, when what he needed to do was get a hat-full of runs would be a big contender for worst thing. As would a highly rated driver crashing his new season Ferrari at the first bend, taking out his team-mate.

Pain would rate highly. Childbirth alone is scientifically proven to register the most pain a human being can endure...

This is what led to the argument.

If, in the course of that argument tempers flared, then I submit that Just-Cause be taken as read.

My Lord, I respectfully suggest that a demonstration of a scientific principle cannot be deemed as grievous bodily harm..

A cast-iron frying pan around the back of the head pales in comparison to giving birth.
