KIRKBYMOORSIDE’S home Wearside League game with Prudhoe Town was postponed on Saturday.
The game was called off after a 9.30am pitch inspection by local referee Malcolm Richardson owing to a waterlogged pitch.
The decision was made early to prevent Prudhoe and the Carlisle-based match referee from travelling.
The Moorsiders are without a game this Saturday (December 29).
On Saturday, January 5, the club will stage a Donkey Derby at the Kirkbymoorside Recreation Club, starting at 5pm. The team travel to Prudhoe for a first-round League Cup tie on that date.
