Members of the Marlow Society and other Marlovians may have been surprised by the criticisms of the Society’s submission to the WDC Planning Department raised in Mr & Mrs Shannon’s letter published in the MFP last week.
Those wishing to learn why the society took a neutral position on the outline application to build housing on land at Station Approach, Marlow are asked to look at the relevant WDC website where they will see that the unfortunate criticisms published bear no relation to the actual submission.
The society wishes to see an integrated approach to the development of the whole Station Approach.
It will be playing an active part in discussions on the new Local Plan in the hope that this and all other planning issues will be developed in the interests of all Marlow residents and those who work in our town. — Martin Blunkell, Chairman, The Marlow Society
