If there was ever any doubt the local Conservative Party struggled to find good candidates for the last district council elections then step forward Dick Dastardly and the Sundance Kid, AKA Cllrs Colomb and Green who both wrote rather predictable and uninspiring letters in last week’s BFP (April 11).
This un-dynamic duo are the epitome of political councillors who put party before the people they purport to represent.
It is clearly not in the local Tory party’s interest to have an elected town council in Wycombe that would be controlled by their opposition, so instead of huffing and puffing a load of irrelevant nonsense week after week in the BFP, why not come out and just say it?
People might be tempted to respect them more for their upfront honesty if they did.
