A year’s worth of fundraising and awareness support from Sainsbury’s Farnham Road has made a huge difference to the staff and animals at Animal Sanctuary at Dorney Lake.
Thanks to generous donations from customers, the store has announced they have raised over £2,500 this includes pet food donation by customers and colleagues.
A cheque of £1,689.06 was handed over on June 17.
Throughout the last 12 months, colleagues at the store held several activities to raise funds and awareness of the charity’s cause.
These included colleagues dressing up days, cooking day’s raffle, table top sale, bag packing and fun days which helped Animal Sanctuary. — Manpreet Dhanoa, by email
