An application has been lodged with Wycombe District Council to develop the old railway track between Cores End and Wooburn Green including building 22 houses.

The only people officially notified are those in the immediate vicinity who will be adversely affected.

Many people from the area who use it for rambles, recreation and walking dogs, may not be aware of these plans. Details can be obtained from the council’s website or by contacting their planning department.

The timing of this notice is a concern as some people will be away on holiday, including a local councillor. The deadline date for comments is not set in stone and the council confirms that a response can be made after September 4. — Mr J. Gibbings, Trees Road, Bourne End
