I am an 82-year-old British West Indian and I would like to say thanks to three ladies and a young lad who came to my assistance on Monday September 1 when I fell on Chairborough Road, High Wycombe.
The ladies got hold of me and helped me to my feet and the young lad took up my umbrella and gave it to me which helped me to steady myself.
The mother of the lad drove me home as I was in a great deal of pain. She got hold of my arm and helped me out of the car, and as I was in so much pain I did not ask for their names. I would now like to say a grateful thanks to each one. I have prayed to the Lord God to surround you with his love and care all your days.
Once more, thanks very much for your care. The blessing of God be with you always. – Name and address withheld
