Re: parking charges for Desborough Avenue.
I went to Desborough after a close friend was taken into Wycombe Hospital with a heart problem. I went to buy a magazine and get well soon card. I decided to drive outside as I went to the bank, instead of walking into town.
I believe that the first layby, which I have previously parked near to the chemist, is free of charge. I managed to get a place right outside the shop and walked round the back of my car. The person working in the shop and a local started talking to me, I then returned to my car with a ticket on it.
The car parking man kept talking to me which annoyed me.
I couldn’t see the sign as two hanging baskets full bloom were each side from the angle I walked. I didn’t see the machine as it was the other side of the bus stop. Being upset I wasn’t fully aware. However you must be completely mad if you would think I would even risk a £25 fine when it would cost £1.
I can’t believe that when you appeal they don’t actually look into your account of what happened.
