I would like to congratulate the person responsible for the amazing painting displayed at High Wycombe station.
Years ago the town was a pleasure to visit and whichever road you entered from there would be something appealing to look at, and a great array of individual shops all taking a pride in their appearance. This sadly is no longer the case, and there are now many areas of the town that lack tender loving care.
It is a breath of fresh air to travel down Amersham Hill and see the station looking so clean and vibrant and then wow, your eyes are drawn to the painting – quite stunning, it would be lovely to think one day the town could be worthy of such an entrance. – Carole Burnard, by email
