Blame the bombs

PLENTY of space has been given to our learned readers on their views on global warming.

Not one has convinced me that they have the answers.

They struggle between themselves, to quote other people's say-so such as Al Gore, or the Green Party.

I have a theory, picked up in my life's journey, stored in my memory, as the events happened.

I think global warming started with the advent of the two atomic bombs dropped on Japan in 1945.

Those two mushroom clouds sucked up thousands of tons of dust and materials.

This was all sucked up into our atmosphere and is still up there now. This circles the Earth still as radioactive as the day the bombs exploded 62 years ago.

This waste will take a thousand years to become normal.

A bigger and better bomb, the hydrogen, was made and tested, creating more radioactive waste.

America stopped testing when high readings of radiation were found.

A scientist (I believe my memory is right) named Van Allen discovered an electrical magnetic field surrounding the Earth, now named Van Allen. It was found that this belt kept out the harmful rays and radiation from the Sun.

Surely it stands to reason that what it doesn't let in, then it doesn't let out, and that all that nuclear radioactive waste in our atmosphere is still as strong as ever - still trapped.

Also what happens when a space rocket, or shuttle blasts off into space?

Does it puncture a large hole in this belt?

If so, does it quickly close, or stay open to let the Sun's radiation enter the Earth's atmosphere?

Mistakes were made in the past on testing these bombs. Our atmosphere was polluted for military advantages over other countries. They are guilty not us, or our 4x4 cars, aerosol spray cans, or fridge freezers.

I don't say I'm right. These are my views, not off the internet, or Government circles, journals, or essays, or Al Gore.

I think Mr Editor, the atomic and hydrogen bombs have come home to roost on our doorstep and won't go away.
