HIGH Wycombe needs and deserves a better and bigger museum, and the old library in Queen Victoria Road is just the ideal place.
It's central and the majority of the people know where it is, rather than the old and small museum in Priory Avenue.
Hundreds of artefacts, including many from the Roman Villa on The Rye and also from the furniture manufacturing industry which made this lovely old town famous all over the world, are sadly now nearly gone forever.
Most of these items are currently on display at the County Museum in Aylesbury, but should rightly be on display in High Wycombe where they were found. What a lovely start for the re-building of a new town centre in High Wycombe.
